Appliance voltage

An appliance has a name plate voltage of 265v. It appears to be single pole, neutral and ground. Is the 265 nominal voltage? What supply voltage would I expect to connect to it?

265 part of a 265/460 volt system or 277 of a 277/480 volt system.

277/480 seemed most likely. I hadn't run across it before. Hotel room heat pumps.
