The range at my house is hardwired connection, electrician does not install a maintenance disconnect switch for it and
the range does not have an integral control switch either.

Will this comply with NEC? I thought all appliances do not come with a cord and plug will require a disconnect switch?

You could install a breaker lockout in lieu of the disconnecting means at the appliance.

Can you point out the code section? By the way, I don't see the breaker feeds the range has lockout. Thank you.
