Hey guys. I’m tying to figure out if an existing gutter is going to be ok for us to reuse. It’s 10x10x and it will have (2) 3” IMC conduits coming into the top with (3) 500AL wires in each pipe. The wires will terminal in a block inside the gutter.
312 says 500AL needs 6” @ 1 wire per terminal. The blocks we are using are will terminate (2) 500s on the main side (in separate terminals). When calculating the minimum radius, 500AL is ~0.699 in. sq., does this compound as I add wires in the gutter or only if the bends are literally on top of one another ? Thank you!!!
