Does anyone know what needs to be arc fault protected in a hotel suite? I know the receptacles need to be protected, but what about GFCI circuits in kitchen and bath and lighting? Thanks

Which edition of NEC applies?

For most part unless maybe you are using pre 2011 NEC, if the guest suite also qualifies as a dwelling unit, 210.12(A) applies, so same thing as in a single family dwelling.

2017 says all 120 volt 15 and 20 amp outlets and devices need AFCI in 210.12(C), but as I said if unit qualifies as a dwelling unit, don't really matter, A or C makes you put them in.
