I just installed a 400 amp service on my house and was wondering about arc fault breakera on dedicated circuits for kitchen appliances. I have ran multiple homeruns to feed the fridge, dishwasher, garbage disposal. I have also ran 12-2 everywhere in the house. All lights and receptacles. Also am I required to put all lighting loads on 15 amp breakers even though I ran 12-2. I have looked all over the 2011 NEC but wanted to get others insight. Thanks

I agree with Jumper, if you have all #12 conductors you can use 20 amp OCPD's. I would.
