Arc Fault Circuit Breakers

I haven't bought a 2011 NEC Book yet and I hope someone will be nice enough to help me out. My question is ; according to the 2011 NEC on what circuits in a mobile home are Arc fault circuit breakers required?

Thank you,

That would be a field modification to a listed product , I guess. Up to the AHJ to decide on the arc fault requirements I just know all wire.installed in the factory does not require it, not saying some dealers don't option it in.

The premise that a manufactured home is a "product" has always bothered me. If the point of building codes is primarily the safety of the occupants, it makes no sense that a home doesn't have to meet the same codes just because it's constructed offsite.

A manufactured home is built to a federal standard, where as a modular home is built to whatever the local codes are. They are both built in a factory a lot of the time side by side. We have homes everywhere from 2002 to 2011 codes on line at one time

Every one I've ever worked in is a wiring nightmare.

Worked in a modular last year that got rained on before the set crew had the roof finished. Everything was so wet that all of the sheet rock in the entire house had to be removed. What was in the walls and ceilings was unbelievable. I'm still scratching my head wondering whose brilliant idea it is to run Romex through stubs of metal tubing with no protection at the top plates of every wall.
