Arc fault main in generator transfer switch.

The generator has a 225 arc fault main.The inside panel will have arc fault breakers.Will it trip the main before the breaker if there's a problem?

For the inside panel do you mean AFCI circuit breakers, that are 15 or 20 ampere, protecting branch circuits?
As RJ commented, not sure what you mean by 225 amp arc fault main. Is this a regular thermal magnetic circuit breaker?
