Arc Fault Receptacles

Anybody using Arc Fault receptacles? They pulled them off the shelves a year or two back around here but our lowes has started carrying them again. Just wanting to know if they had problems when they first came out and have the bugs worked out now.

Using dual function replacements where both 406.4(D)(3)&(4) apply, and no AFCI breaker exists.

I haven't heard of any substantive problems that resulted in pulling OBC AFCIs from supplier's shelves.

I've been installing them as needed since they were first introduced.

We just installed over 700 of them in an apartment building with no real problems except for an occasional bad one.
