In calculating the Flash Protection Boundry, normally I consider the fusing device in the bucket and the length / gauge of wire from that point. I have a panel that has 14 AWG wire taps on the primary side of the disconnect. How is that considered in the calculation?
Is it added to the existing length of wire?
This application has 30 feet of 500MCM wire terminating in the panel disconnect. Then 14 AWG taps off the primary to 8 amp fuses for a DC power supply that must remain on.
How is this approached.
Thanks
