Won't damage your brain to have this important information, giving you insight into what your men face and giving you the knowledge to speak to your employees and customers.

That being said, YOU are responsible for determining who in you company is "Qualified" per the 70E definition. YOU are responsible for having an electrical safety program in effect that complies to the &) requirements. YOU are responsible you providing the PPE necessary for your electrical workers to do thier jobs safely. YOU are responsible for contractors in your facliity following 70E requirements.
If you have guys in charge of this that you trust to ensure all of these things are taken care of, then no, you dont have to go.
Oh yeah, I forgot, you have to inform the widow of what happened to her husband.
