I just purchased a Cutler- Hammer Motor Starter and Inside there was an Arc Flash Hazard Danger Sticker.It says on the bottom to apply label as required by the 2002 NEC Art.110.16 .Is this required on all pieces of equipment and does the sticker apply inside or outside the cover.Is this something that was added in the 2002 NEC because it was not in my 1999 book? Feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Refer to 110.16 of the 2002 NEC. It explains that Arc Flash warning stickers should be placed on switchboards, panelboards, motor control centers, etc. within commercial and industrial installations where live parts will be serviced--other than dwelling installations. Again refer to 110.16 for a better explaination. Created in the 2002 NEC.
