Our client wants label with a specific style(which should, among other things, include ?PPE Cat for door open & door closed' info)-label sample in attached word doc. Some software packages are able to generate such arc flash labels. So far I couldn?t find a way to generate any label with above ?door open/closed style? using ETAP version 7.5.0C, which is the software package I am using-ETAP help files didn't show any labels with ?PPE Cat for door open & door closed' based on operations like switching, inspection etc . as per label sample in attached word doc. Will it be possible to generate Arc Flash labels with the attached client-specific style using ETAP version 7.5.0C ?

It seems your client wants 'task table type' labels to be created using 'location based' results.
I am pretty sure you will have to manually create these labels.

The 2012 70E does not allow multiple HRC's, you just put the highest one regardless of task. Also, your example label is from an old task table, maybe 2004? All racking operations are HRC 4 since 2009.

Also keep in mind to use the tables you still have to know the fault current and clearing times and once you have that info why not just do the calculation the right way?

130.5 (C) Equipment Labeling. Electrical equipment such as switchboards, panelboards, industrial control panels, meter socket enclosures, and motor control centers that are likely to require examination, adjustment, servicing, or maintenance while energized shall be field marked with a label containing all the following information:

(1) Only one of the following:
a. Available incident energy
b. Minimum arc rating of clothing
(2) Date of arc flash hazard analysis
(3) Nominal system voltage
(4) Arc flash boundary

The method of calculating and data to support the information for the label shall be documented.
