Comments please:
If electrical switch gear has designed arc flash safe guards is an arc flash study still required?
For work on such equipment are PPE reqirements still required?

  1. Yes.
  2. The response depends on the results of 1 if you need FRP rated PPE and what level of protection, if any. You may need other PPE to operate and handle tools while servicing the gear.
