From the little I have just learned ARC flash is not a concern in dwellings? Why? Is the rated fault current not high enough or does it have to do with amps?
An arc is generally not considered self sustaining at <240V and when fed by a transformer <125kVA, so the Ei;s are usually low.
Besides, there is enough griping about arc flash protection in industrial plants (Some people enjoy burn centers I guess, either that or they just like complaining) that trying to enforce any arc flash safety in a residential setting would cause some sparkys heads to explode
