Does the factory applied warning on this disconnect conform to NFPA70E and NEC Code 110.16? Also, does a transformer need the label? We have had a lot of discussions about it. In the NEC requirements, it has ANSI Z535.4-2011 for location and design. It is not a big deal to put a separate warning label on, but I really don't want to make the contractor do anything they don't have to.

Generally these labels factory applied are just general warning not an ARC Actual ARC flash warning includes multiple calculations some derived from AFC from POCO. If residential most likely no need for ARC label, if commercial or industrial then most likely is required. NFPA 70E and OSHA will have additional requirements.

That is all that is required by 110.16(A).
