I was told buy a friend that when you wire a garage the receptacles must be GFI. I have no idea if that is true or not. I am a electrician out of 5 in pittsburgh but I never do residential work and my code book is a few years old and I know they have made alot of changes as fars as GFI requirements over the years.

Thanks

Rick
