Are single phase 120/208V panels common?

Is there anything unusual to look out for when designing a 3 phase 120/208V distribution system with single phase subpanels. I just don't recall seeing single phase 208V panels very often and wondering why that might be.

In apartment complexes they are the norm. 208Y/120, 3Ø panels with 120/208, 1Ø feeders to each apartment panel.

You would typically use a 120/240V single phase 3wire panel on 120/208 single phase 3 wire circuit. Panels are labeled, by manufacturers, with their maximum permissable voltage not what they are actually installed on.

For line-to-neutral loads, there is no difference.

For line-to-line loads, heating loads will operate at 75%. Others must be suitable for 208/240v or 208v.
