I’m struggling to reconcile 210.19(C):
“Branch-circuit conductors supplying household ranges…shall have an ampacity not less than the rating of the branch circuit and not less than the maximum load to be served”
with Note 4 of Table 220.55:
“Calculating the branch-circuit load for one range in accordance with Table 220.55 shall be permitted.”
Does this later note overrule the earlier requirement?
