art 514.8 ex 2

Am I ready 514.8 ex 2 correctly. its permitted to install pvc and the last 2' can be RMC or IMC as it enters classified area?

After reading several post and re reading code. I find it hard to comply with 10' no union couplling rules but it does say #2 is an exception.

The exception does allow PVC for the underground with the last 2 ft IMC or rigid.
It's been a while since Ive done dispensers but you might check your specs. At one time some of the dispenser folks wanted metallic all the way.

I agree the rule allows pvc... But remember the burial depth is 24" not the typical 18" that is standard for pvc

PVC is used all the time, maybe even more with rigid at 30 bucks a stick.
