hey guys,
am i reading 630.11B and 630.12B correctly? I have 9 welders that i am planning to feed individual from a panel. Rated current is 39amps each. for this calculation i am assuming a 100% duty cycle
the ampacity of the feeder conductors to this panel is
1st welder 100% 39a
2nd 100% 39a
3rd 85% 33a
4th 70% 27a
remaining at 60% 23a x 5 =115amps
feeder supply conductors 253a = 250kcmil wire @75degrees c
630.12B
the over current protection for these conductors could be sized at 500amps?
253a x 200% = 500amp breaker
thanks for any help
