Hello,
I have a new building with the IT/telecom room in the middle away from any exterior walls. I'd like to run the communication service conduit from the IT room above the ceiling in IMC or RMC about 100' to an exterior wall, then go thru the wall and underground to the nearest utility pole. This will be the path for the Comcast/internet service to the facility. I'm reading NEC 800.48 and I think this design complies, as long as I don't run through plenum/riser/duct/etc. Do others think this is legal or has anyone run into this before?
