I have a question about the definition wet location, an area subject to saturation with water, Ok, I work in a injection molding manufacture, some times not all, but a
water hose will break, and there is water all over the place, would that be consider a wet location, it does get saturation with water, because it takes a long time
to cleanup.

Thank you for any and all information.

IMO no. The definition mentions locations that will be wet under normal conditions. A pipe or hose leaking is not a normal condition and is not the same as being outdoors in the open or in an area that frequently gets hosed down. Many types of hoses will leak at some point but that doesn't mean that for example that a laundry area is a wet location because the washing machine machine hose may eventually burst or leak. Same would apply to a sink or toilet where at some point the supply hose may burst or leak.

....locations subject to saturation with water or other liquids, such as vehicle washing areas;...

The language in the definition implies that things get wet in the normal process, not when something breaks. If there is some equipment that needs protection, that is a design issue. If there are just conduit and j boxes I don't think that is a big deal.

Thank you, now I have a better understanding.
