Is it a code violation? article 210.9

A boost transformer is used to boost 208 to 240 to supply a sewer pump motor. One of the output leg is jumpered to the control panel of the sewer pump and the neutral is brought from the building power panel. Is it permitted? OR a violation of article 219.9.
