A question has come up in a class that I teach. I hope you can help me with an answer.
In the 2002 NEC Article 215.2(A)(2) it states that a feeder must have an ampacity of "at least 30-amps" where the "load supplied consists of any of the following number and types of circuits:"
It then lists four examples.
This seems to be missing in the 2005 code. Has it been moved? I cannot find it anywhere else. Has this requirement just been dropped from the NEC? I never really saw the point of this requirement, but I know it was a favorite for questions on various exams so I always covered it in detail.
Thanks for any help you may provide.
