Article 310(H)(4) Ampacity adjustment for parallel conductors

310.10(H)(4) States that if I use parallel conductors, (No mention of raceway design), I'm required to comply with 310.15(B)(3)(a). I will agree that if the parallel conductors are in the same raceway I should derate per the table. Since I am installing the parallel feeders in seperate raceways with no more than three current carrying conductors in a raceway I don't believe this derate should apply. What am I missing?

Who is suggesting that you are missing anything? You have it right. With no more than three CCCs in a raceway, you can stop reading that article before you even get to the end of the first sentence. No derating applies.

If they are parallel in the same conduit then each parallel conductor will count.
