I have a question on the interpretation to the feeder as opposed to the tap.
We have a feeder fed from 480 volt 600 amp fuses that enteres a raceway above one piece of equipment about 10 feet up. The feeder is tapped and the tap drops into an enclosure with a breaker to protect the tap conductors and the equipment fed.
The Feeder then continues in the raceway arounds the room about 150 feet to another piece of equipment like the first where a second tap is made.
Both taps meet the 10 foot tap rule of 430.28.
I am not sure if there is a limitation on the main feeders.
