WE HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE USE OF "SO" AND "STO" CABLES, DUE TO OUR INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS. ( BASICALLY WE ARE WORKING IN CONFINED SPACES, FLOATING EQUIPMENT, NO SHARP STEEL EDGES. IT IMPLIES THAT THE CABLE COULD BE "CUT" PRODUCING, PUTTING THE ELECTRICAL CABLE IN CONTACT WITH THE STEEL EDGE AND PRODUCING SPARKS).
WE THOUGHT IN THE MC-HCL CABLE, BUT THIS TYPE OF CABLE DOES NOT OFFER THE SUFFICIENT FLEXIBILITY FOR OUR OPERATIONS DUE TO THE "SOLID ALUMINUM COVER THAT IS LOCATED JUST BELOW OF THE PVC JACKET".
MAY BE THE BEST OPTION IS TO HAVE A CABLE THAT BE "SO" OR "STO" BUT THAT USE A "FLEXIBLE" ARMORED COVER ( LIKE AN ALUMINUM MESH ) THAT WOULD HELP VOID CABLE DAMAGES OFFERING AT THE SAME TIME SOME FLEXIBILITY.?
