Article 517 - Major Repair Areas

NFPA 517 classifies any area or groups of areas with an opening like a doorway at slab in the repair bay as hazardous. NFPA 30A does not seem to differentiate between areas like kitchens /bathrooms etc. that are in the adjacent spaces.

If we do not have four air changes or positive pressure in these rooms do we still treat the entire comlex like the repair bay???

You need to check your references. Art 517 is for Health Care Facilities. I believe you are actually referencing Art 511; in which case you also need to specify with/without dispensing and ventilation.
