Working on a renovation with a existing panel located in an existing exam room. The renovation is fairly extensive and mostly all branch circuits are being replaced.
The plans examiner rejected the project because he said the panel would need to have a redundant ground that complies with article 517.
If I read article 517.13 it says "All branch circuits serving ....". However, the way I see it is that the panel is fed from a feeder, not a branch circuit.
Any one ran into this before? Obviously an exam room is not an ideal location for a panel but we have to work with what we have.
Thanks
