Article 517 - Patient Care Areas

If a office is being renovated into a space containing exam rooms with patient care where we are taking offices and converting them into exam rooms, assuming the existing wiring method doesn't comply with article 517, does anyone see a method to re-use any of the existing wiring, or would a new home-run routed in EMT or medical grade MC be required for the rooms?

To re-use the existing wiring methods they would have to comply with 517.13.

This is a common issue when a dentist or doctor moves into an existing space.
