Article 610 - Crane Feeders

Is 610.14(E) meant to define the demand load for the electrical feeders that serve the cranes? What's confusing me is the terminology "common conductor system." Is that meant to refer to the feeder(s) in the electrical distribution system? I am involved in designing a new facility that has a large number of bridge and jib cranes, and I really want to avoid oversizing feeders any more than absolutely required by the NEC. Thanks!

IMO
610.14(E)(2) applies to any conductors carrying the load of multiple motors on a single crane.
610.14(E)(3), and thus Table 610.14(E), applies to feeder or service conductors carrying multiple cranes.
