I believe that only Article 700 wiring needs to be run exclusively in dedicated raceways and that Artilce 701 and 702 may be mixed in with normal. a) is that accurate and b) if so, where is this made clear in the NEC?

Thanks,

Mike

how about Critical branch in hospitals

how about Critical branch in hospitals

nice of them to make so easy to remember!

What about the Critical branch in hospitals now that it's been divorced from Article 700. May these circuits be run with normal and/or equipment branch circuits?

Thanks a lot!

The code has done a lot of that. Look at the Chapter 3 articles. Almost all of them use a"parallel" numbering format. The definitions are all in the xxx.2 section, listing requirements in the xxx.6, uses permitted xxx.10, uses not permitted xxx.12, securing and supporting in the xxx.30, and there are others.
