Hello Everyone;

quick question, does anyone knows if there is any kind of exception where we don't need to comply with receptacle control requirement of ASHRAE 90.1-2013? We do a lot of renovation project where sometimes the projects are very small, example; renovating an area that has three offices and our scope was only to replace the receptacles with new and some cases we need to replace the wires. I didn't see any exception in ASHRAE but I thought I'll ask. Thanks,

This job in South Carolina

well, unless you can get them to agree with california,
you are gonna be cutting in plugs and adding modules to control them.

on renovations, before it was repealed, i could certify individual
outlets added to existing, if there was a controlled outlet within 6'.

the easiest way to accomplish it here was with 3 wire MC. put a drop down
each device, split the plug, put half on a controlled relay, and be
done with it.
