Askarel: Where is it used?

I'm just wondering where askarel is used most often?

Is it the lube-like sealant in electrical devices such as coils? Is it liquid gas contained inside an electrical device? Is this a silly question?

Askarel was used primarily as an insulating/cooling fluid in large transformers and capacitors. It has not been manufactured for many years due to it's classification as a PCB-containing carcinogen.
