LIttle late to ask after I submitted my bid and got approval lol- but first solar project got a question..........
Alright I got a 400 amp service outdoor remote to home about 50 feet. Asphalt--- from that meter its also 150' to the metal non dwelling shed were the array will be mounted. Want to put in a Franklin 2a down in shed---- Reason is incase of a fire its not in the home- I am installing a Franklin apower 2 battery system with a Franklin Agate.
I was reading that the a gate can't be outside- and the distance that the apower2 from gate way is 164 feet
So my problem is - I was going to build a shed at the meter and put the Franklin in there but then my service disconnects are in the home so was pondering that, --- but then I realized I have to transfer the entire home and not just the 200 amps the 1 agate I have is rated for.---------
How can I fix my mess up....... do I need another agate and can they interlink?
