There is a situation wherein some ATEX certified JBs are to be installed in Zone 2 areas. The JBs have arrived with removable gland plates but without any cable entry holes in the plates. Is it mandatory to use a specifically certified company to make the holes or can general A grade electrical contractors be allowed to drill necessary cables entry holes and then terminate the incoming cables
