Attaching Hub

I was just looking at one of these in our shop. The inside where I circled is not threaded. How is that attached the the conduit? That end was actually flexible.

It's flexible because it overlaps the coated conduit which fits inside it.

The connectors are basically Meyers connectors with the coating added.

As Larry stated it's a Myers hub with a pvc sleeve. You see these sleeves on PVC coated couplings as well.

I understand now that the sleeve slips over the conduit but what/how does the hub stay securely attached to the conduit where it slides over?
