Attic AHU's and disconnect

How/where do you mount the disconnect for attic mounted Air Handler Units? Typically there is a low ceiling/roof, etc.

Just screw it to nearest trust upright. I know it violates 110.26 but never had it taged

Anywhere you can: on house framing or on the equipment, as long as you don't affect equipment access.

My experience: depends on the inspector, have mounted them on a truss and/or the equipment.
