If I am reading Article 366 correctly, when an auxiliary gutter is used, and over 30 current carrying conductors are installed, all conductors must be derated in accordance with table 310.15(B)(2)(a). If I have over 40 conductors that derate is 35%.
So, for a typical 20/1 circuit breaker do I need to provide #8 AWG wiring to comply?
Or does 240.4(D) apply and I can use #10 AWG wire?
