I'm getting this second hand of course, but here is a comment I received while doing a design for a small church addition:
Their AV guy said that a 60 amp service for the stage n sound is adequate and must have its own isolated ground field.
Is there any legal way to provide a separate "ground field" and comply with the code?
If the service has several disconnects tapped off the service conductors, could each disconnect have its own N-G bond, and separate ground rods, and a separate jumper to the water pipe? Does that even accomplish anything other than adding a bunch of work?
