b.b. gun resistant lighting

who makes the most B.B. gun resistant outdoor security lights? (outside, dry location - in the open ceiling of a picnic table shelter)

I don't think this is something manufacturer's advertise or get their products tested for, however, you would probably be best using a fixture designed for institutional use such as in prisons and mental hospitals. Marine fixtures are also fairly robust...

I don't know who makes them, but the Park District here uses what they call "vandal proof lighting". I'm sure it's got plastic lenses and such. Or maybe something such as Bryan mentioned. I would be ready for $$$$ though.

I used to install vandal proof acrylic covers that completely covered the wallpacks . I dont know who made the though. When the little hoolums used to smash them we would just have to replace the acrylic . How about installing one of those deer cameras that are motion activated and catch the little bugger red handed.

I think there is something to the blue light theory. I installed some blue diode lights under my tank and along my motor on my bike. The constant flashing due to vibration kept me in check, drove me crazy though, they had to go.
