Back Feeing 65 amp Disconnect

I've been asked to install a disconnect kit rather than using the back fed method. I needed to back feed because the fused disconnect is only 65 amps. At this time, I'm not aware of a 65 amp kit.
My question is: Is there a NEC code prevention me from using the back feed method.

What do you mean by back feeding a disconnect? If the fused disconnect is labeled line and load then they must be connected to line and load. If not then it wouldn't matter. Maybe I am misunderstanding--- AGAIN.

I'm curious. Where does the 65 amp rating come from. Highly unusual rating.
