I've got a customer that removed a couple of capacitors from his motor and now we aren't sure how to wire them back in. I'm not that familiar with motors and motor wiring other than supply wiring. I don't have any pictures of it but there are a total of 6 caps in it. It's a Baldor 7.5hp model FDL3732M. Can anyone give me any insight into how caps are wired in motors or point me to a wiring diagram that shows how they're wired in?

Thanks for any help.

From the schematic and parts list, it looks like you'd have 4 electrolytic capacitors in parallel for the start cap, and two oil capacitors in parallel for the run cap.

I did see that but the diagram doesn't help me much. As I mentioned, I'm not that familiar with internal motor wiring, so I need a diagram that shows all of the capacitors and the wiring between them.

That means the four caps of one type get connected in parallel, then the set is wired between 8 and E.

Likewise, the two caps of one type get connected in parallel, then that set is wired between 8 and O.
