Ballast Circuit Types (i.e HX-PFC, HX-HPF)

I tried google, but all it shows me was ballast pricing. I'm trying to find paperwork that tells me the difference between the different ballast types. Like what is the difference between HX-PF and HX-HPF. I looked at an advance catalog, but it couldn't find any info on it. Any help would be appreciated.

The HX-HPF is a high reactance autotransformer with a high power factor usually achieved with a capacitor across the primary coil. As far as the HX-PF.... not quite sure... the NPF designates normal power factor
