Any recommendations for a bar code scanner to use with an electrical inventory system?

I was hoping someone had some input also. I was thinking along those line sfor our inventory system rather than the old paper and pencil and finger.

Take a look at Symbol. Most people who sell them can offer "canned" programs, while some have folks that can actually put a custom program together.

I hot synch it to an Access database.
