I was looking at an underground service today.
Copper service conductors but the neutral was bare and the pipe was filled with water. (not sealed at the pole). Water filled up the pipe right up to the meter and had been dripping out and corroding bottom of meter enclosure.
Curious how much concern I should express to customer about integrity of bare conductor that has been submerged for probably 10 years plus
