Bare OH wire connectors

I'm working on an upgrade to an old wellpit fed by overhead bare copper wires, I'm guessing #8s or so. It is an isolated site and the wellpit is the only powered thing there. Right now the POCO transformer/fuse is about 150 yards away, where it connects into 3 individual bare wires, 240/120V that run the distance to the pit. There is one pole in the middle of that run with a very tired fused disconnect. I want to move the new service disconnect/OCPD to the pole closer to the pit and remove the disconnect in the middle of the run.

My question is what connectors do you guys recommend to jump around the removed middle disconnect? I'll remove the 2 weatherheads and conduit drops down the pole to the old disconnect, but what should I use to jumper onto each leg of the bare wires around the pole WITHOUT cutting wires? Split nuts come to mind, but not sure if they're rated for this kind of an application.
