Bare overhead rails

This client has an overhead crane for lifting motors inside a large building. The crane’s rails are bare copper/brass, powered by three phase 480VAC and installed approximately 15 feet above the floor. What bothers me is there is no signage whatsoever indicated the bare railing is live and very hot. I am not sure which code to refer to on this one. Yesterday, two workers performing routine maintenance in a man lift were unaware of this until I noted it to them.

The older contact rails were often bare. I don't see anything in Article 610 that requires any signage, but that would be a good idea. Most modern rails are covered making inadvertent contact much less likely.

Seems to me that whoever sent them up there to work without adequately protecting them needs to have an appendage whacked
