Barn calculation

I am looking at a job and need some input. How do yo do a load calculation for a barn. It's a large barn. That has an 1100 sq ft living quarters

all input is appreciated

Living quarters? Is that human living quarters? If so, the load calculation will be like a house, not a barn.


For a plain ol' livestock barn, no matter how upscale, see 220.102(B).


And if this an outbuilding, even though some city folk may call it a barn, you just add up all the connected loads.

Not a plain ol barn. Olympic type horse barn

The last barn I wired was 1100' x 100'. Getting ready to do an 800' x 100' in the next couple weeks.

I do a load calc just like any other building.
