I have a Temporary MLO construction panel with (4) 120 volt breakers feeding construction receptacles. The service entrance conductors land on a 50 amp breaker. If I read 408.3(A) (2) correctly-Barriers at Service Panelboards- a barrier is required on the 50 amp breaker lug screws. However, if the service entrance conductors land on the main lugs I would not need a barrier as there is more than one service disconnect within a single enclosure. It seems less safe than a main breaker that would kill the buss. Am I reading this right? Are barriers available for typical 2 pole breakers? I can’t find them. :?

He's back feeding a 50 amp CB which now requires the insulators, if he uses the lugs (MLO) and the up to 6 disconnect rule he's not required to insulate the main lugs.
Square D makes them for back-fed CB's also:
